ABOUT THE ARTIST

I'm Oleander, known mainly by the pseudonym "Stitchedspider." I'm a 19 year old freelance artist from the United States. I specialize in character based illustration, and aspire to work in storytelling. I spend every day working on improving my skills.I put a large focus on rich colors, as well as making the characters I draw feel as lively as possible. Many of my illustrations involve characters in casual situations, I love making them feel grounded in between the more dramatic pieces. I'm hugely passionate about bringing characters to life, whether they be other people's characters or my own.My most notable work at the moment is my Daily Spot drawings, in which I've challenged myself to illustrate a character from the film "Across The Spider-Verse" until the final film of the trilogy releases. The challenge began in September of 2023 and is still going to this day.At the moment, Procreate is my primary program for digital illustration.
